We had to supplant the radiator causal agent information technology overheated in Nashville. after that, only ace fan would progress and when you'd turn the aerate conditior along,IT would blow a fuse.
We replaced the fan that we thought destroyed out,but its non blowing fuses when turn a/c on BUT the fan stillness won't come on.

We think it's the sensor that burnt out.

What info does you want to help me figure the job?

we do need to replace the water pump simply it's non bad right now we plan to replace that in a week or 2.

The fans are upset on supported the temporary worker from the Locomotive Coolant Temporary worker sensor. On the dash when the engine heats dormy are you beholding an genuine temp like 200 F or just the needle that shows Cold and Hot with a couple of some other lines? Your car has a 195 F temporary thermostat - when the coolant that has circulated through the engine and is heading back to the radiator to be cooled back down it goes by the ECT sensing element and the thermoregulator. Until the coolant temp reaches 195 F the thermostat corset closed and doesn't allow the coolant to flow back into the radiator. After it reaches 195 F information technology starts to open and allows it to flow rate past the thermostat into the radiator.

Not until the coolant temp reaches 223 F will the fans be turned on Low Speed. If it reaches 230 F so the fans will go into high speed. To a lower place are other things that bequeath call on the fans happening.

There are 2 fuses and three relay race that assure the two cooling fans connected your car.

The fuses and relays are all located in the underhood fuse blockade:

Cool Fan 1 Fuse 15 Amp
Sang-froid Fan 2 Fuse 15 A

Cool Fan 1 Relay
Cool Buff 2 Relay
Cool Rooter 3 Relay

The cooling system uses 3 relay race to be able to run the fans at short &adenylic acid; high race.

Here are the temps and other info which the PCM uses to controller when and what speed the fans streak.

The PCM commands Low Speed Fans on under the followers conditions:

- Locomotive coolant temperature exceeds approximately 223°F
- When A/C is requested and the ambient temperature is more than 122°F
- A/C refrigerant pressure exceeds 190 psi
- After the fomite is close off if the engine coolant temperature at central-off is more than 284°F and system voltage is more 12 volts. The fans will stay on for about 3 minutes.

The PCM commands High Speed Fans on under the following conditions:

- Engine coolant temperature reaches 230°F
- A/C refrigerating pressure exceeds 240 pounds per square inch
- When positive DTCs set.

Rent out me know if this helps or if you have any more questions.

By the way - I wonderment when you had the radiator changed if the cooling system of rules was purged of the bare. Also, were the fans electrical connectors separate when the radiator was changed? If so, then maybe the wrong connector was put on the immoral fan? Probably not because the wire harness shouldn't allow that just just wanted to check that.

Suss out the fuses and relays - that's all but likely where the problem is.

Well we are going after the sensor now, cause they checked the fuses and that wasn't it.
even when it goes happening the temp line for the halfway mark it always corset there but the fan still North Korean won't come on.
i'm non sure if the air was purdged. my cousin is a backdoor grease monkey does all our work when we bottom't afford soul and then far this is the only clock time that something wish this has happened and all the same wasn't sure what it was.

If the temp is showing right on the middle that is correct and on that point would be no reason to change out the temp sensor.

More than likely it is the relay or relays that are bad - did they check those?

my cousin checked the relays and switched them around and information technology wasn't the relays.
we entirely suspect its staying cool is cause its cool outside where we are at and its keeping it at temp to not overheat.
it must be the sensor.

You could try switching the electrical connectors from one fan to the other and see if that changes which i runs. If the wiring harness has enough slack in it to reach the opposite sports fan.

Along the forum we like to narrow down a bit more before we start purchasing parts but IT could embody the engine coolant temporary worker sensor so since it's a fairly cheap part it probably wouldn't hurt to go ahead. But, you might find that it's soundless not fixing the problem.

Is exclusively one fan not coming on?

Is the running buff advent on good when you start the car?

Or is it waiting to come in happening when the temp is up?

Remember - the fans are only intended to come out once the coolant gets up to 230 F.

Just some thoughts - rent out me know how it goes.

Is alone one fan not coming on?
Correct.passenger side.

Is the working fan coming on right when you start the car?
No more.my dad just told me as far as he knows with this car, that (both)of the fans are suppose to come up when it comes to temp.that he knows of. but when it comes to temp exclusively that one driver side one that DOES turn up,comes on while the passenger doesn't.
Operating theatre is information technology waiting to come on when the temp is up? i believe i vindicatory answered that in question 2.

Remember - the fans are only supposed to come with on erstwhile the coolant gets adequate 230 F.

Well when it comes to temp, the right rider fan doesn't turn up,is what he told me which is the half way tune i believe.

o.k.,
he replaced the sensor and the winnow comes on but its functioning delayed and we arn't sure if he has it in there right or non. would cause it to run stupid, the new devotee that we installed i mean?

they installed the sensor and the fan that wasn't coming on,comes happening, but its starting slow. what could cause it to start slow and not loyal like the a/c fan running fast? does it need to glucinium used a little bit earlier it wish get to speed?

apologies i didn't pull in i posted this twice.
